John Kauffman can best be described as a man of many talents. In his 30 years at CAM, he’s been a construction worker, maintenance technician, and property manager, working his way up the ladder from one position to the next by hard work and determination. 

Today, in addition to performing property management duties for the past 16 years at CAM, John is also the company’s fleet manager,  keeper of all hard keyed systems, a programmer for the HVAC automated systems, and head of security access systems. He especially enjoys the latter, taking a specialized interest in the finer details of managing access control employee listings for all CAM properties.

John’s favorite part about working at CAM is the small-company feel. Employees are important to everyday operations and he likes knowing that what he accomplished in the course of a day matters to the success of the company.  It’s part of the reason he’s driven to be the best he can be every single day, and strives to solve any issue that arises. 

As John says, service is the lifeblood of any organization because everything flows from it and is nourished by it. He and the CAM team work together to help tenants with any issues that arise, big or small. Working in customer service, John prides himself on his positive attitude and ability to connect with tenants and maintain relationships. Using his experience in property management and skill in service, he brings a quality experience to every customer. 

When John is not working, he enjoys his family and being a dad to his two children.  Maps, biking, hiking, adventuring, and anything that allows him to explore the outdoors in the Akron area and beyond are always at the top of his list!
