Village of Richfield Updates Crossroads District Master Plan

Late last year, Village of Richfield officials updated its conceptual and design guidelines for its “Crossroads District Development Plan, initially adopted in June of 2012. The 550-acre tract of land is bounded by Brecksville Road on the west; Wheatly Road on the north; I-77 on the east; the southern boundary of the FedEx property on the south. While the design guidelines shall apply to all development improvements within the area defined above, the “South Wheatley” area consisting of about 80 acres will be the primary focus of these guidelines. CAM, Inc. has two signature developments within this District: Richfield Corporate Exchange in the Kinross Lakes development and The Stonegate Corporate Park development (approximately 58 available acres). The Village’s intent is to promote a more mixed-use, hybrid “lifestyles center” theme that supports the concentration of corporate business development. The strategy also ties in a unified branding strategy to improve public awareness of the Village’s economic opportunities. CAM, Inc. looks forward to working with Village officials in promoting this plan to encourage more commercial amenities that supports the needs of area businesses, their employees and residents of the community.
